RAF Scampton was to embark on an exciting period of change, which could have seen our ambitious improvements to its site as we intended to add new museums, temporary exhibitions, and visitor attractions delivered over the short, medium and long term.

Visitors were to walk where Aviation History was made for the first time in the airbase’s lifetime.

Returning RAF Scampton to the Community - Issue 04

Horizon Park Masterplan has been carefully considered to benefit the entire local community and to attract worldwide visitors. The history of RAF Scampton is one of national importance and we recognise the commitment and the legacy of the RAF. 

Heritage & Avation (RAF Scampton Heritage Trail) - Issue 02

Horizon Park Ltd sets out to create an overarching Interpretation Strategy for preserving RAF Scampton’s heritage assets. The process will lead to the creation of a strategy by HPL team in close consultation with heritage specialists Pegusis, Ex-Scampton heritage centre trustees and stakeholders and partners committed to preserving RAF Scamptons Past.
